WILMINGTON — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team fell 1-0 at Wilmington Thursday night at Williams Stadium.
With the loss, the Polar Bears fall to 1-2-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while Wilmington improves to 4-1-0, 4-1-0.
Junior Levi King (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) led the attack for the ONU with seven shots, but was unable to find the back of the net.
Wilmington's Zach Burgmeier scored the lone goal of the game in the 46th minute.
In the 35th minute, senior Zach Yoder (Goshen, Ind./Northridge) took a free kick from about 20 yards away that smacked the crossbar, and was one of the Polar Bears best scoring chances.
Northern will return to home Sunday afternoon at 2 pm against John Carroll at Kerscher Stadium.
