Four named MVPs of Men's Soccer fall exhibition series

ADA — Head coach Chris Matejka and his coaching staff have announced the Most Valuable Players from the Ohio Northern men's soccer team's exhibition competitions this fall.
Senior Zach Yoder (Goshen, Ind./Northridge) and senior Todd Federici (Findlay) were named MVPs of the Kerscher Kup and senior Sergio Bugarin (Murrieta, Cal./Murrieta Valley) and sophomore Josh Ellis (Whitehouse/Anthony Wayne) were named the MVPs of the annual Black v Orange series.
Yoder was the Offensive MVP and Federici was the Defensive MVP of the Kerscher Kup. Bugarin won Offensive MVP honors and Ellis was the Defensive MVP of the Black v Orange match.
Yoder and Federici led a group of 14 players to win the Kerscher Kup series with 15 points each. The series was shortened from five matches to three due to the COVID-19 pandemic with those 14 players playing on the winning team in all three matches.
Bugarin scored a goal for the Orange team to earn Offensive MVP honors and Ellis was outstanding in goal for the Black team to win Defensive MVP honors as Black edged Orange 3-2 on an own goal in the 88th minute.
