Men's Soccer to open 2020 season with Sept. 1 with home match against Trine (Ind.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team will open its 2020 season on Sept. 1 with a home match against Trine (Ind.) under second-year head coach Chris Matejka.
The Polar Bears will then travel to the west coast to play at Chapman (Calif.) and Redlands (Calif.) Sept. 4-5.
Northern will then play at Hanover (Ind.) on Sept. 9 before returning home to host Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) and Hope (Mich.) Sept. 11-12 at Kerscher Stadium as part of the annual ONU Invitational.
Northern will also host Oberlin and Alma (Mich.) and travel to Ohio Wesleyan and Rose-Hulman (Ind.) in non-conference action.
The Ohio Athletic Conference portion of the schedule kicks off on Oct. 3 at Marietta.
The Polar Bears will host Baldwin Wallace, Muskingum, John Carroll, Otterbein and Mount Union in OAC action.
OAC Tournament play will begin with the quarterfinals on Nov. 3 and conclude with the finals on Nov. 7.
The Polar Bears the 2019 season 13-6-3 overall and tied for third in the OAC with a 5-3-1 record.
