Wednesday's Preview: Ohio Northern enters Wednesday's matchup with Ohio Wesleyan riding a 3-game winning streak ... During the streak, Northern has scored eight goals, recorded one shutout and claimed the ONU Invitational Tournament title ... The Polar Bears are coming off of victories over Kalamazoo (Mich.) and Thomas More (Ky.) ... In a 3-1 over Kalamazoo, Northern junior Joseph Schulte, and freshmen Zachary Yoder and Logan Whinery each posted goals ... Northern would follow that victory with a 3-0 shutout victory over Thomas More, where Schulte, Yoder and senior Chris Garbig all scored goals in the win ... Freshman goalkeeper Dylan Plank earned victories in both contests, posting a combined six saves in the two matchups ... Schulte was recently named OAC Player of the Week for his efforts in Northern's 3-0 week ... The junior posted three goals and added an assist in a 2-1 victory over Wittenberg ... Schulte is tied for second in the OAC with seven points and three goals ...
