DELAWARE -- The No. 9-ranked Ohio Northern men's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie with No. 13-ranked Ohio Wesleyan Wednesday evening at Roy Rike Field.
The Polar Bears move to 6-0-1 overall, while the Bishops move to 4-1-1.
Despite winning the corner kick battle by a 9-5 margin, the Polar Bears were unable to capitalize on the evening.
Senior Matt Kinkopf led the way offensively with four shots, including two shots on goal.
Junior goalkeeper Dean McNeil recorded six saves on the evening, including two key saves in double overtime to lead the Polar Bears.
Northern will return to action Saturday as they host Case Western Reserve and play the night cap of a double header with the women's soccer team at 7 pm at Kerscher Stadium.
