TIFFIN — The No. 25-ranked Ohio Northern men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Heidelberg Tuesday afternoon.
The Polar Bears fall to 13-4-0 overall and are 5-1-0 in Ohio Athletic Conference play, while the Student Princes improve to 6-7-3, 4-2-0.
After 69 scoreless minutes, Heidelberg got on the board with 20:38 left in the match and added an insurance goal with 13:40 remaining.
Sophomore Dean McNeil had four saves to lead ONU.
HU out-shot ONU 12-8, but Ohio Northern had six corner kicks to four for Heidelberg.
The Polar Bears will return home on Saturday for a 7 pm contest at Muskingum at Kerscher Stadium.
