WESTERVILLE — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team fell to Otterbein Tuesday night 2-1 at Clements Field.
The Polar Bears fall to 8-6-1 overall, 1-2-1 OAC while Otterbein improves to 8-6-0 overall, 1-3-0 OAC.
Otterbein struck first in the 10th minute as junior Luis Rivas was able to beat freshman goalkeeper Dean McNeil off an assist from Conor Holland.
Ohio Northern outshot Otterbein in the first half 6-4.
The Polar Bears were able to find an equalizer in the 47th minute as sophomore Austin Horton played a header off the cross bar.
The Cardinals, however, were able to find another goal in the 79th minute as senior Jared Pulliam was able to capitalize off an assist from junior Josh Kellner.
Otterbein outshot the Polar Bears 12-10 in the game.
Ohio Northern is next in action Saturday evening as they host Capital at Kerscher Stadium.
