ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team defeated Manchester (Ind.) Wednesday night 2-0 at Kerscher Stadium.
The Polar Bears improve to 7-3-0, while Manchester falls to 3-5-0 on the season.
Ohio Northern dominated the entire game, out-shooting the Spartans 24-4.
The first goal of the game came in the 16th minute as sophomore Matt Kinkopf was able to connect off a pass from senior Chuck D'Imperio.
The Ohio Northern offense never let up as it capitalized once more in the 48th minute, as senior Keegan Ross was able to find sophomore Colin Johnson to give the Polar Bears a 2-0 lead.
The Polar Bears controlled the ball for most of the contest, making it difficult for the Spartans to mount any offensive attack.
Manchester goalkeeper Jared Hallal (2-3) recorded nine saves in the game.
Ohio Northern will next be action on Saturday at 1 pm as they travel to Anderson to take on the Ravens.
