MOUNT BERRY, Ga. — The No. 14-ranke Ohio Northern men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 21-ranked Emory (Ga.) Saturday in the first match of the Berry (Ga.) Invitational.
The Polar Bears fall to 2-1-0 on the season, while the Eagles improve to 2-0-1.
Emory scored goals in the 16th and 37th minutes of the first half to lead 2-0 at intermission, then added an insurance goal in early in the second half.
The Eagles out-shot ONU 15-9.
Freshman Dean McNeil had four saves in goal for Ohio Northern.
Senior Keegan Ross and sophomore Colin Johnson each had two shots to lead the ONU offense.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Sunday at 2 pm against tournament host Berry.
