ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team will open its 2013 season on August 30-31 at the Franklin (Ind.) Tournament.

The Polar Bears, under 16th-year head coach Brent Ridenour, will host 10 matches at the ONU Soccer Field, including six in a row from Sept. 4-18.

Northern will begin the defense of its Ohio Athletic Conference title on Oct. 5 at Mount Union.

ONU looks to be gunning for its third straight OAC Tournament crown Nov. 4-9.

Excitement is high in the program as the Polar Bears are coming off a 25-3 record and a runner-=up finish at the NCAA III Tournament in San Antonio, Tex., in 2012.
