Men's Soccer ranked No. 5, No. 10 in tenth weekly D3soccer.com and NSCAA polls

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team is ranked No. 5 in the tenth weekly D3soccer.com poll Men's Division III poll and is No. 10 in the tenth weekly 2012 Continental Tire/NSCAA on Tuesday.
In the D3soccer.com poll, Ohio Northern (20-2-0 overall, 9-0-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) received 518 points.
Messiah (Pa.) is ranked No. 1, Loras (Iowa) is second and Amherst (Mass.) is third.
In the NSCAA poll, the Polar Bears were ranked No. 7 in the ninth poll last week, No. 12 in the eighth poll, No. 14 in the seventh poll, No. 21 in the sixth poll, No. 25 in the fifth poll, No. 18 in forth poll, No. 9 in the third poll, No. 12 in the second poll, No. 4 in the first weekly poll and were ranked No. 12 in the 2012 preseason poll and were No. 11 in the final 2011 NSCAA poll.
Messiah (Pa.) is ranked No. 1, Amherst (Mass.) is second and Trinity (Tex.) is third.
Last week, the Polar Bears won their third consecutive OAC Tournament title with victories over Heidelberg (3-1) and John Carroll (2-0) at the ONU Soccer Field.
ONU has now been nationally ranked in four of the past five seasons.
The Polar Bears will return to action Saturday at 7:30 pm to play Thomas More (Ky.) in the first round of the NCAA III Tournament at No. 11 Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, Pa.
