Freshman Keegan Ross named OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern Freshman Keegan Ross has been named the OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 27- Sep. 2.

Ross was named Tournament MVP of the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament as the No. 12-ranked Ohio Northern men's soccer team defeated Centre (Ky.) by a 4-1 score Sunday afternoon in the championship game at Penn State-Behrend.

Ross scored two goals on Sunday and one in the 4-0 season-opening victory over Geneseo State (N.Y.) on Saturday to give him three for the tournament. He also registered an assist and finished with seven points.

The Polar Bears (2-0-0) will be in action again on Tuesday when they travel to Anderson (Ind.) for a 5 pm match.
