Freshman Peyton Lich named OAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for second week in a row

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Peyton Lich (Palmyra, N.Y./Macedon) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 24-30.

The recognition comes after having a career-high 17 saves in a close 8-7 loss to Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday. He also had a team-high six saves in an 11-3 win over Marietta on Saturday.

This is his second time receiving the honor.

The Polar Bears (7-4 overall, 2-1 OAC) return to action on Tuesday at Heidelberg (3-7 overall, 0-3 OAC) at 5 p.m.
