ADA — Eleven different players scored goals as the Ohio Northern men's lacrosse team posted a 13-4 victory over Trine (Ind.) on a misty Wednesday afternoon.

- Seniors Aidan Dempsey (Silver Spring, Md./St. John's College), Riley O'Neal (Dumfries, Va./Forest Park) and John Lynn (Cincinnati/Sycamore) each had two goals to lead the Polar Bears.
- Thirteen ONU players tallied at least a point with 11 players scoring goals and two more with at least one assist.
- Dempsey and O'Neal each finished with a team-high three points on a goal and an assist.
- Northern's offense was prolific in the first third of the game as the hosts built an 8-1 lead 21 minutes into the contest.
- Ohio Northern kept Trine at bay the rest of the game as the lead was 9-2 at halftime and 12-3 after three quarters.
- The Polar Bear defense was dominant throughout the entire 60 minutes as TU was forced into 27 turnovers while only getting off 19 shots in the contest.
- Senior Cole Zaferakis (Liverpool, N.Y.) had three saves in goal on six shots on goal to earn his 40th career victory for the visitors.
- Ohio Northern out-shot Trine 41-19 and won the ground ball battle 35-21.

- Senior Chad Calderwood (Portland, Ore./Episcopal) won 8-of-11 faceoffs on the day, extending his school record to 326 for his career.
- Senior Sebastian Michaud (Springboro) is sixth at ONU with 59 career goals, is ninth with 27 assists and is seventh with 86 points.
