ADA — The Ohio Northern men's lacrosse team earned the Academic Team Award from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association for 2022.
Senior Brian Dalidowicz (Dayton/Archbishop Alter) was named a USILA Scholar All-American, marking the fourth consecutive year that a Polar Bear has won the honor.
It is the second time that ONU has received the team award.
Dalidowicz is a three-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree and has played in 29 career games with 20 starts on defense.
He scored one career goal, had 32 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers while committing only three turnovers in his career.
Dalidowicz joins former Ohio Northern standouts Joe O'Connell (2021), Cameron Marous (2020) and Jackson Pfister (2019) to have won the award.
The Polar Bears posted their seventh consecutive winning season in the seven-year history of the program in 2022 with an 12-5 overall mark. ONU was third in the OAC with a 7-2 record under seventh-year head coach Nat St. Laurent.
