Men's Golf finishes fourth at John Carroll Fall Invitational

The Ohio Northern men's golf team continued its fall schedule with a fpurth place finish at the John Carroll Donald Ross Invitational Sunday and Monday.
The Basics
- The teams played 36 holes - 18 on Sunday at Manakiki G.C. in Willoughby Hills and 18 on Monday and Shaker Heights C.C. in Shaker Heights.
- Ohio Northern finished fourth of 8 teams with a 311-308—609.
- John Carroll won the team title with a 298-300—598, Otterbein was second with a 303-310—613, Wittenberg was third with a 294-322—616 and Mount Union was fifth with a 319-307—626.

- Freshman Ian Briars (Maumee/Anthony Wayne) tied for third out of 45 golfers with a 75-74—149.
- Freshman Dylan Potts (Dublin/Jerome) finished 14th with a 81-74—155.
- Freshman Gordon Kopmeyer (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./St. Mary's) tied for 18th with a 77-80—157.
- Junior Bennett Christy (Plymouth, Ind.) tied for 20th with a 78-80—158.
- Juniors Joey DeSimone (Munroe Falls/Stow-Munroe Falls) tied for 35th with an 81-82—163.
Notables
- The tournament was played at two separate courses.
- Manakiki G.C. played to a par of 72 over 6643 yards.
- Shaker Heights C.C. played to a par of 71 over 6701 yards.
