Men's Golf finishes fourth at Capital Fall Classic

CANAL WINCHESTER — Freshman Aashir Patel (Schaumburg, Ill./Conant) tied for fifth out of 42 golfers to lead Ohio Northern at the Capital Fall Classic Sunday and Monday at the Westchester Golf Course.

- Patel was eight shots back from the leader with a 78-72—150, which ties his career-low 36-hole score.
- Junior Adam Trigg (Cincinnati/Roger Bacon) carded an 81-81—162 to tie for 20th.
- Sophomore Anthony Naso (Grosse Ile, Mich.) was 26th with an 82-85—167.
- Sophomore Bennett Christy (Plymouth, Ind.) was 27th with an 88-80—168.
- Playing on the ONU B team, sophomore Domenic Pilla (Highland Heights/St. Ignatius) had a 76-76—152 to tie for seventh.
- ONU head coach Chad Bucci moves to 346-337-15 in his 11th season at the helm.
