Tournament Preview: The Ohio Northern men's golf team will continue its spring schedule at the Muskingum Invitational at the Zanesville Country Club ... Muskingum, Otterbein, Marietta and Mount Union will join ONU in the 18-hole tournament with a shotgun start at noon … Northern began its spring schedule Feb. 25-26 with a fourth place finish at the seven-team Music City Shootout at Nashville National Golf Links ... The Polar Bears shot a second-round 298 on Sunday after shooting 307 on Saturday for a final score of 605 in the 36-hole tournament, which was hosted by Rose-Hulman (Ind.) ... Freshman Bennet Christy led the way for ONU, finishing in a tie for second place in the field of 56 golfers with a 6-over-par 146 ... Christy shot a second-round 70 on Sunday, which tied for the low round on either day of the tournament and is tied for sixth all-time at ONU for 18 holes. His 36-hole total is tied for ninth in program history ... Sophomore Andrew Briars tied for 17th with a 153, freshman Anthony Naso tied for 21st with a 154 and sophomore Adam Trigg-Holdman was 30th with a 158 ... Through 11 rounds this fall, Christy leads the team in scoring with a 77.0 average ... Senior Josh Steyer is second t 77.5, freshman Anthony Naso is third at 78.6 and sophomore Adam Trigg-Holdman is fourth at 78.7.
