Turich wins medalist honors as Men's Golf downs Tiffin 637-656 in non-conference match at Colonial Golfers Club

SUNBURY — Senior Joshua Turich (Centerville) fired a 3-over par 71-74—145 to win Medalist honors and lead the Ohio Northern men's golf team to a 637-656 victory over Tiffin on Saturday at Colonial Golfers Club.
The Polar Bears improve to 15-35-1 on the season with the win.
Turich won the title by five shots over freshman teammate Jared Hernandez (Van Wert), who carded a 74-76—150 on the par-72, 6886-yard course.
Freshman Nolan Kimberly (Zanesville) was third with a 77-77—154 and freshman Andrew Slusher (Covington) was fifth with a 81-76—157 for Ohio Northern.
The Polar Bears will return to action next Friday at the Northwestern Ohio Spring Invitational at Hidden Creek Golf Course in Lima.
