Junior Tyler Davis and sophomore Zach Goodchild named Academic All-OAC in 2015-16

ADA -- Junior Tyler Davis and sophomore Zach Goodchild have been named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference for the 2015-16 men's golf season.
Award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50.
Davis is a junior Pharmacy major from Liberty Center and earns his first Academic All-OAC honor.
Davis also earned All-OAC honors after finishing ninth at the OAC Championships.
He had a team-low average of 76.0 through 18 rounds in 2016. Davis took first place at the Heidleberg Spring Invitational after firing a season-low 72 in both rounds.
Goodchild, a sophomore Risk Management and Insurance major from Pickerington also earns his first Academic All-OAC accolade.
He saw his best finish at the Capital Fall Invitational, where he fired a career-low 72 in the second round of the invitational.
Goodchild ranked third on the team with a 77.1 average and had four top-10 finishes and one top-5 finish in 2016.
The men's golf team finished second at the OAC Championships under third-year head coach Chad Bucci in 2016.
