Thursday's Tournament: The Polar Bears will continue their spring season on Thursday at the 2016 OAC Spring Invitational, hosted by John Carroll at the Hudson Country Club ... The Invitational is a 27-hole tournament with all eight OAC schools participating ... The tournament was scheduled to be a 36-hole affair on April 10-11, but was postponed due to poor weather conditions ... The team scored of the OAC Spring Invitational will be added to the team scores of the OAC Fall Invitational to determine the OAC Regular Season champion ... The combined, 63-hole scores will also determine the pairings for the 2016 OAC Championships tournament April 29-May 1 at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio ... ONU stands 5th of 8 schools after the OAC Fall Invitational, but is just eight shots off the lead ... Ohio Northern is ranked 59th out of 276 NCAA Division III schools in the latest GolfStat rankings, which were released on Tuesday ... Thus far this season, junior Tyler Davis leads the Polar Bears in scoring with a 76.3 average for 10.5 rounds ... Sophomore Zach Goodchild is second at 77.7, junior Tim Monroe is third at 78.5 and junior Blaine Ricketts is fourth at 79.2.
