Men's Golf finishes second of 7 teams at ONU Spring Invitational

HARROD — Junior Tyler Davis carded a final round 75 to lead the Ohio Northern men's golf team to a second place finish at the 7-team ONU Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Colonial Golfers Club.
The Polar Bears (21-11-1 overall) finished the 27-hole tournament with a 165-313—478.
NCAA Division II foe Tiffin won the tournament with a 468, Capital was third with a 483 and Baldwin Wallace was fourth with a 488.
Junior Blaine Ricketts tied for fourth with a 43-75—118, sophomore Zach Goodchild tied for 12th with a 41-80—121 and sophomore Tim Monroe tied for 20th with a 41-86—127.
Tiffin's Eddie O'Brien won medalist honors with a 37-75—112.
The Polar Bears will return to action April 10-11 at the OAC Spring Invitational at the Shaker Heights Country Club.
