Junior Tyler Davis leads Men's Golf at OAC Fall Invitational on Sunday

HARROD — Junior Tyler Davis fired a 3-over par 75 to lead the Ohio Northern men's golf team at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Invitational Sunday at Colonial Golfers Club.

Davis tied for third out of 53 golfers with his 75 on the par-72, 6886-yard course.

The Polar Bears (16-7 overall) finished fifth of eight teams with a 316.

Otterbein won the team title with a 308 and Mount Union and Capital tied for second with 311s.

Junior Blaine Ricketts and sophomore Zach Goodchild tied for 15th with 79s and senior Rick Deichert tied for 35th with an 83 for ONU.

Capital's Logan Holbrook won Medalist honors over Otterbein's David Monaco in a 3-hole playoff. Both men shot 74s on the day.

The Polar Bears will wrap up their Fall season on Oct. 18-19 at the Wayne State (Mich.) Invitational.
