Men's Bowling wraps up regular season with 12th place finish at Ohio Bowling Conference IV meet

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Northern men's bowling team wrapped up its regular season with a 12th place finish at the Ohio Bowling Conference IV tournament on Saturday.

The Basics

• Ohio Northern finished 12th of 14 teams with 5,152 pins.
• Venue: Palace Lanes - Columbus, Ohio.

ONU Individuals

• The tournament consisted of 28 baker games, therefore no individual scores were posted.
• The tournament was scheduled for 32 baker games, but was cut short due to winter weather moving into the area.

Notables

• The Polar Bears averaged 184.0 pins per game.
• Northern had eight games over 200, including five of the last nine with a high game of 234.
• Ohio State won the team title with 6025 pins, Northwestern Ohio was second with 5729 pins and Robert Morris was third with 5564 pins.
• This was the final of 10 regular season events for Ohio Northern in its second season.
• Second-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
