Men's Bowling finishes 26th at Columbia 300 Western Shootout Saturday and Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Ohio Northern men's bowling team finished 26th of 31 teams at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout Saturday at Sunday.

The Basics

• Ohio Northern finished 26th of 31 teams with 8,816 pins.
• Venue: Royal Pin Western Lanes - Indianapolis, Ind.
• Northern knocked down 5,542 pins in six individual games on Saturday, an average of 184.7 per game.
• On Sunday, ONU knocked down 3,274 pins in 16 baker games, an average of 204.6 per game.

ONU Individuals

• Freshman Andrew Knight (West Liberty/Riverside) led the Polar Bears with a 6-game series of 1,209 on Saturday.

Notables

• Trine (Ind.) won the team title with 10,215 pins.
• Davenport (Mich.) was second with 9986, Purdue was third with 9886 and Oklahoma Christian was fourth with 9763.
• This was the third of 10 events for Ohio Northern in its second season.
• Second-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
