Men's Bowling opens second season with 10th place finish at Dirty Bird Classic

JACKSON, Mich. — The Ohio Northern men's bowling team opened up its second varsity season on Saturday with a 10th place finish at the Dirty Bird Classic.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 10th of 15 teams with 4,302 pins.
- Venue: Jax 60 - Jackson, Mich.
- The tournament consisted of three regular games and 10 baker games.
The Tournament
- Sophomore Nolan Caban (Dayton/Centerville) led the Polar Bears with a 533 series, finishing 51st of 143 bowlers.
- Freshman Giovanni Scanio (Corpus Christi, Tex./London) was 35th with a 528.
- Freshman Andrew Knight (West Liberty/Riverside) was 60th with 467 pins.
Notables
- This was the first of 10 events for Ohio Northern in its second season.
- Second-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
