Ohio Northern Men's and Women's Bowling teams to open year two at Dirty Bird Classic in Jackson, Mich.

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's and women's bowling teams will begin their second varsity seasons on Sept. 21 when they compete at the Dirty Bird Classic in Jackson, Mich., under second-year head coach Jeff Robinson.

The Polar Bears will compete in four separate Ohio Bowling Conference Tournaments at Palace Lanes in Columbus (Oct. 5, Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Feb. 8) .

ONU will compete in 10 tournaments in total.

In addition to the Dirty Bird Classic and the four OBC contests, Northern will bowl at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout Oct. 12-13 in Indianapolis, Ind., at the Muskie Mash Nov. 2, at the Wright State Raider Classic Nov. 9-10, and as a non-conference member in two American Heartland Bowling Conference tournaments Dec. 7 and Jan. 11

Ohio Northern competes in the 19-team Ohio Bowling Conference.

The Polar Bears will hold their practices and home events at Norada Lanes in Ada.
