Lukas Dunbar leads Men's Bowling at Roto Grip Wright State Raider Classic

KETTERING — Freshman Lukas Dunbar (Orient/Teays Valley) led the Ohio Northern men's bowling team to an 18th place finish at the 20-team Roto Grip Wright State Raider Classic at the Poelking Woodman Lanes Saturday and Sunday.

The Basics

• Ohio Northern finished 18th of 20 teams with 7,102 pins in five rounds of regular games and 12 baker games during the day.
• Venue: Poelking Woodman Lanes — Beavercreek, Ohio
• Team points will be announced next week.
• Complete Individual results will be posted when they become available.

The Tournament

• ONU defeated Campbellsville-Harrodsburg (6,941) and Miami (Ohio) (6,818).
• Dunbar had a 970 series in his five games, which included a high game of 235.
• Freshman Nolan Caban (Dayton/Centerville) was second on the team with a 940 series.

Notables

• This was the third of five non-conference tournaments this season.
• First-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
