Junior Mason Studer named Academic All-District in Men's Basketball by College Sports Communicators

ADA — Junior Mason Studer (Galion/Colonel Crawford) was named Academic All-District in men's basketball for the 2024-25 season by the College Sports Communicators.

To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, each student-athlete must have at least a 3.5 GPA and must have played in 90 percent or started 66 percent of his or her team's games in a season.

Studer, a two-time Academic All-District honoree, played in all 26 games with two starts at guard this season, averaging 3.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

In three seasons at ONU, Studer has played in 75 games with seven starts. He is averaging 4.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in his career.

He was also named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference.

The Polar Bears posted a 14-12 overall record and were fifth in the OAC with an 8-10 record this season under third-year head coach Neal Young.
