Men's Basketball extends win streak to five games with 86-64 victory over Baldwin Wallace

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team defeated Baldwin Wallace 86-64 on Wednesday night, marking its fifth straight victory.

The Game
- Five Polar Bears scored in double figures led by 18 points from sophomore Will Miller (Ottoville). Miller added four rebounds, four assists and four steals.
- Freshman Carter Reese (Westerville/North) tallied 14 points.
- Sophomore Mason Studer (Galion/Colonel Crawford) and senior Carson Conley (Newark/Licking Valley) each made a trio of 3-pointers and finished with 13 and 11 points, respectively. Conley also had five assists.
- Freshman Jadi Cunningham Jr. (Columbus/Westerville South) added 11 points and eight rebounds.
- AJ Pestello led the Yellow Jackets in scoring with 17 points.
- With the game tied at 12-all, Studer and Conley made back-to-back 3-pointers to put ONU up 18-12 with 14:04 left in the opening half.
- A 3-pointer from sophomore Hayden Hanson (Cedarville) made it 21-15 ONU with 12:44 left.
- A Studer jumper with 12:01 remaining kick-started a 13-0 ONU run capped by a triple from Studer for a 34-17 ONU edge with 7:24 left before halftime.
- A 3-pointer from Reese put ONU up 45-26 with 1:38 left in the half, and the Polar Bears led 49-30 at halftime.
- ONU opened the second half with a 6-0 run, getting four points from Miller and two from Reese for a 55-30 lead en route to the victory.
- Ohio Northern made 34-of-59 field goal attempts for 57.6% and was 12-of-21 from 3-point range for 57.1%.
- Baldwin Wallace was 23-of-56 shooting for 41.1% and was 5-of-17 on 3-pointers for 29.4%.
- ONU was 6-of-11 from the foul line for 54.5%, and BWU was 13-of-20 for 65%.
- Ohio Northern out-rebounded Baldwin Wallace by a 36-29 margin and held a 24-12 edge in points off turnovers.
