Senior C.J. Napier named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Ohio Northern senior C.J. Napier (Miamisburg/Bishop Fenwick) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, sponsored by Midstream Lighting, for the week of Feb. 6-12.
This marks Napier's second OAC Player of the Week this season.
Napier poured in a career-high 34 points in Northern's 95-89 overtime loss to No. 6-ranked John Carroll on Saturday after scoring 22 points against Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday.
He recently became the 40th member of ONU's 1,000-Point Club and currently ranks 20th all-time with 1,248 career points. Napier also ranks 19th all-time in ONU history with 573 career rebounds.
Through 23 games, the three-time All-OAC selection is averaging 18.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. He ranks second in the OAC in scoring and third in the conference in rebounding.
The Polar Bears (9-14 overall, 5-11 OAC) return to the court on Wednesday for an OAC game against Heidelberg at 7 p.m. at the ONU Sports Center.
