NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. — Junior Landen Long (Mason) scored a career-high 35 points, but it was his 3-pointer just ahead of the buzzer that was the difference as the Ohio Northern men's basketball team won 87-85 at Manchester (Ind.) on Tuesday night at Stauffer Wolfe Arena.
The Polar Bears improve to 2-1 overall, while the Spartans fall to 0-4.
Northern led 84-82 but the hosts got a 3-point play on a driving layup by Quentez Columbus with three second left in the game to go ahead 85-84.
