Shaq JZ

Shaq JZ is in his first season as an assistant coach at Ohio Northern and will coach the corner backs in 2024.

JZ comes to Ohio Northern after coaching defensive backs at Grandview Heights HS in 2023.

He has six years of experience as an assistant coach at the prep level, coaching defensive backs and linebackers.

Then known as Shaq Jefferson, JZ played one season at NCAA Division II Grand Valley State after playing two seasons at Indiana in the Big 10.

He received his bachelor's degree in physical education from Grand Valley State in 2015.
