Bio

E.J. Henderson is in his first season as an assistant football coach at Ohio Northern. He will coach the wide receivers and serve as co-offensive coordinator.

He comes to Ohio Northern after a 1-year stint as offensive coordinator and special teams coordinator at NCAA Division II Urbana.

Prior to his stint at Urbana, Henderson served as wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator at NCAA Division I Davidson in 2011-12.

Henderson also has assistant coaching stints at Princeton from 2007-2010, Wayne State from 2004-06, Mount Union in 2002-03 and Louisville in 2000-01.

Henderson played collegiately at Central Washington, where his squad shared the NAIA national title in 1995.

He received a bachelor's degree from Central Washington in travel-tourism management in 1996 and was later inducted in the school's Athletics Hall of Fame.

He earned a master's degree in health and fitness from Louisville in 2002.

He is married to Katie Rosenthal Henderson and they have two daughters, Miriam and Luella.
