Football wraps up home slate with 49-13 loss to John Carroll

ADA — Ohio Northern wrapped up its home schedule on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with a 49-13 loss to John Carroll.

- Sophomore Jordan Pettaway (Oregon/Clay) ran 12 times for 68 yards and caught 4 passes for 42 yards and a TD.
- Junior Louie Blasiole (Mantua/Crestwood) ran 12 times for 39 yards and a score.
- Junior Sam Feldman (Springboro) completed 12-of-21 passes for 113 yards and a TD and ran nine times for 40 yards.
- Feldman threw a 28-yard TD pass to Pettaway with 6:09 left in the third and Blasiole scored on a 21-yard run with 12:25 left in the game to account for the Ohio Northern scoring.
- John Carroll was led by Nick Semptimphelter, who was 12-for-12 passing for 269 yards and three TDs.
- Defensively, junior A.J. DeSousa (DeBary, Fla./University) had a career-high 10 tackles.
