Senior Jonmichael Elliott named OAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior kicker/punter Jonmichael Elliott (Richmond, Va./Clover Hill) was named OAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 23-29.

This marks Elliott's third career OAC Special Teams Player of the Week accolade.

The recognition comes after he made a 33-yard field goal, was 8-for-8 on PATs, punted three times for a 42.3-yard average and had 10 kickoffs for a 61.3 average and two touchbacks in a 59-3 victory over Wilmington on Homecoming Weekend.

In his career, Elliott has a 39-yard punting average, which ranks him 3rd all-time in ONU history. He has also made 50 PATs, which ranks him 8th all-time.

The Polar Bears (3-0 overall, 2-0 OAC) return to action on Saturday at Marietta at 3 p.m.
