Football picked to finish sixth in 2022 OAC Coaches Poll

ADA — Ohio Northern was picked to finish sixth in the 2022 Ohio Athletic Conference Football Coaches Poll, the league announced on Thursday.
Northern garnered 42 points in the poll.
Mount Union was selected as the favorite with 81 points and nine first-place votes.
Baldwin Wallace was picked to finish second with 71 points and one first-place vote, Heidelberg was picked third with 65 points, John Carroll was picked fourth with 59 points and Marietta was picked fifth with 44 points.
Coaches do not vote on their own teams in the balloting.
The Polar Bears finished the 2021 season with a 4-6 record.
Ohio Northern opens the 2022 season on Sept. 3 at home against Alma (Mich.) at 1 p.m. at Dial-Roberson Stadium under 19th-year head coach Dean Paul.
