All-American RB Christiaan Williams ran 22 times for 118 yards and a TD, making him just the second player in Ohio Northern history to eclipse the 4,000-yard mark in his career. All-America RB Brock Martin banged in from 1 yard out to give Northern a 21-20 lead with 4:39 gone in the period. Hahn then hit WR Austin Eick on a 9-yard TD pass to make it 28-20 with 5:06 left in the third. ONU out-gained MtU 539-385 in total offense.
