Senior Jevon Taylor named OAC Football Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Jevon Taylor (Fort Wayne, Ind./North) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 25-31.
Saturday at nationally-ranked No. 4 Mount Union, Taylor recorded two interceptions, which helped spark a 21-0 run for the Polar Bears to take a 28-20 lead in the third quarter.
Taylor returned both interceptions for a total of 19 yards.
Taylor now has four interceptions on the season and five in his career.
The Polar Bears were overtaken to end the game, suffering a 35-28 loss to No. 4 Mount Union
This marks Taylor's first career OAC Player of the Week honor.
Ohio Northern hosts Baldwin Wallace Saturday at 1 p.m. at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
