Brody Hahn, Nichal Johnson receive weekly awards from OAC, D3football.com

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Brody Hahn (Louisville) and sophomore Nichal Johnson (College Park, Ga./Northgate) were named to the D3football.com Team of the Week and were named Ohio Athletic Conference Players of the Week for their efforts in a 35-22 victory over Wilmington on Friday night at Dial-Roberson Stadium.

Hahn was named the OAC Offensive Player of the Week, while Johnson was named the OAC Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.

Hahn was named to the D3football.com national Team of the Week at quarterback and Johnson was named at defensive end.

Hahn ran for a 42-yard touchdown and threw for four more scores as ONU built a 35-3 lead with 5:23 left in the third quarter. He finished the night 14-of-23 passing for 245 yards and 4 TDs and he ran 11 times for 72 yards and a score.

Johnson had 10 tackles, 5.5 TFL and two sacks to lead the Polar Bear defense.

This marks the second consecutive week that Hahn has been named OAC Player of the Week.

Ohio Northern will return to action on Friday night with a 7 pm kickoff at Heidelberg with the OAC West Division title on the line.
