Football receives votes in second weekly D3football.com poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern football team received votes in the second weekly D3football.com preseason poll, released on Sunday.
The Polar Bears (1-0 overall) received 15 points in the poll, eight more than the seven they received in the first weekly poll last Tuesday.
This marks the 14th time in the last 16 seasons that the Polar Bears have been been mentioned in a national poll.
Northern received 11 votes in the D3football.com in the preseason poll.
The Polar Bears opened their home and Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its 2017 season this Saturday when they host Heidelberg at 1:30 pm at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
