Freshman Christiaan Williams named OAC Offensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Christiaan Williams was named Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts last week.

The senior racked up 229 all-purpose yards as he ran for 175 yards on 25 carries and added 59 yards receiving on three receptions.

Williams added a touchdown in the second quarter as he punched in a 4-yard run to give Northern a 9-0 lead.

Northern will return to action Saturday as they travel to Tiffin and open the OAC portion of the schedule as they take on Heidelberg at 7 pm.
