Freshman Will Freed named OAC Offensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Will Freed was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in ONU's 29-22 victory over Utica, N.Y.
In his first collegiate game, Freed threw for 439 yards and three touchdowns to lead ONU to a come-from behind win over Utica (N.Y.).
Freed's 439 yards is the second highest total in ONU history, just 13 yards shy of the school record.
The freshman completed 27 passes on 36 attempts for Northern.
The Polar Bears return to action Saturday at 7 pm as they welcome Baldwin Wallace to Dial-Roberson Stadium.
