Sophomore Devon Price named All-North Region as a kick returner by D3football.com

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Devon Price was named First Team All-North Region as a kick returner for the 2013 season by D3Football.com.

Earlier this season, Price was named First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference as a kick returner and was a Second Team All-OAC honoree as a wide receiver.

He led the league in kickoff returns with an average of 27.3 yards per return. He was also second in the league with 62 receptions, was third with 757 receiving yards and was second in all-purpose yards with 1,410.

He is currently ranked ninth all-time at ONU with 90 receptions for 1,138 yards, is seventh with 966 kickoff return yards and is second all-time with a 26.8 yard career kickoff return average.

The Polar Bears ended their season with a 6-4 record and finished in a three-way tie with Otterbein and Baldwin Wallace in the OAC with a 5-4 league mark under 10th-year head coach Dean Paul.

Northern also finished in the upper division of the OAC for the 17th time in the past 18 seasons.
