ADA — The Ohio Northern esports teams opened their inaugural seasons in impressive fashion, sweeping Muskingum 2-0 in Overwatch and 2-0 in League of Legends on Saturday in Great Lakes Esports League action.
The Polar Bears are 1-0 overall and 1-0 in GLEC action in both games, while both Muskie teams fall to 0-1, 0-1.
"This was a good day for us to open our first season," ONU head coach Troy Chiefari said. "We had a nice crowd watching us online and on campus at the Bear Cave. Many thanks to our fans. I was happy with how our players took care of business in their first competition. GG's to Muskingum. Muskingum has a good roster they can grow with."
The Polar Bears will return to action next Saturday with an Overwatch game at 11 am and a League of Legends game at Noon.
