LaVant King was an electrifiying All-American receiver and kick returner for Ohio Northern from 1991-95.
King earned All-America honors three times in his career, twice as a kick returner (in 1994 and 1995) and once as a receiver (in 1995).
He is still ONU's all-time career leader in punt return yardage with 1,064.
King also ranks sixth in receiving yards with 2,371 and is third in kickoff return yards with 1,298.
He is the only player in ONU history to have more than 1,000 yards in receiving yards, kickoff return yards and punt return yards.
King, a native of Columbus, is fifth on Ohio Northern's career all-purpose yards list with 4,961.
He graduated from Ohio Northern with a degree in technology in 1996.
