GROVE CITY, Pa. — The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team wrapped up its regular season with a 174.5-91.5 loss at Grove City (Pa.) on Saturday.

Meet Highlights
- Senior Katie Bend (Carmel,Ind/Carmel) won the 1000-yard free in 11:36.89 and was second in the 500 free in 5:44.17.
- Junior Mara Brown (Fremont/Ross) won the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.83, placed second in the 100 butterfly in 1:02.94 and was second in the 200 individual medley in 2:21.97.
- Junior Aubrey Pritchard (Delaware/Olentangy Berlin) placed second in the 200 breast in 2:47.11.
- Senior Shelby Starkey (Bellefontaine) scored second in the 100 free in and the 200 back in 2:15.06.
- Junior Annie Richters (Troy/Miami East) placed second in the 100 free in :58.67.
Notables
- The meet consisted of 16 events, including 12 individual races, two relays and two diving events.
- Ohio Northern won two of the 16 events and placed second in five others.
- The meet is the last of 11 regular-season contests for Ohio Northern.
- Austin Veltman is now 26-28 in his sixth season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
