This Weekend's Tournament: The Polar Bears will take to the mat at the 2-day Pete Willson Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational ... A total of 35 NCAA Division III teams are expected to compete in the double-elimination weight class tournament ... Wrestling starts at 11 a.m. (CST) on Friday with the prelims, quarterfinals and wrestlebacks ... On Saturday, action starts at 9 am (CST) semifinals, wrestlebacks and the seventh place matches ... The fifth place, third place and championship matches are schedule to start at 12:15 pm (CST) ... Thus far this season, sophomore Clayton Davidson (21-11) and freshman Nate Barcaskey (21-7) lead the team with 21 wins each ... junior Alex Bair is third with a 20-11 mark and senior Kyler Deeter is fourth with a 19-7 record ... Barcaskey leads the team and is ranked nationally with 15 pins at heavyweight ... ONU head coach Ron Beaschler recently surpassed the 300-win plateau as head coach at Ohio Northern ... In 27 seasons, Beaschler's teams are 307-213-4 ... ONU will return to action Tuesday with an OAC dual at Otterbein.

ONU head coach Ron Beaschler: Beaschler in his 27th season at ONU with a 307-213-4 record, a winning percentage of .590 ... He is the all-time winningest coach in ONU history and has the longest tenure as head wrestling coach at ONU ... He was inducted into the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Hall of Fame in 2008 ... He was named OAC Coach of the Year in 1993, 2012 and 2013.
