This Weekend's Tournament: The Ohio Northern women's golf team will return to action this Saturday and Sunday at the Wooster Spring Invitational at the Mohican Hills Golf Club in Jeromesville ... 14 NCAA Division III teams are expected to compete in the 36-hole tournament, with shotgun starts at 1 pm on Saturday and 9 am on Sunday ... The Polar Bears are coming off a third place finish at the Otterbein Cardinal Classic last weekend ... Sophomore Lydia Cranmer =fired a final round 80 to rally from four shot back to claim Medalist honors to lead Ohio Northern ... Cranmer shot 85 on Saturday and carded an 80 on Sunday to finish with a 165, edging first round leader Madison Harsh of Capital by one shot ... She won Medalist honors for the fourth time in five tournaments this season and the sixth time in her 13-tournament career and was also named the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her efforts ... Senior Caitlin Silva was 13th of 28 golfers with an 86-95—181, freshman Emily McLaughlin was 16th with an 85-103—188, junior Taylor Daniel was 17th with a 91-98—189 and sophomore Haley Watkins was 21st with a 104-96—200 for ONU. ... Thus far this season, Cranmer leads the team with an 82.1 scoring average through 10 rounds ... Silva is second with an 89.0 average and McLaughlin is third at 93.6 strokes per round.
