This Weekend's Tournament: The Polar Bears will continue their Fall schedule this weekend at the Wittenberg Fall Invitational at the Springfield Country Club ... The Invitational is a 36-hole tournament ... The teams will tee off from 11 am-1:20 pm on Saturday with ONU players going from 12:40-1:20 ... Sunday will feature a 10 am shotgun start ... 14 teams are expected to compete ... Ohio Northern rallied from 10 shots back in the final round to win the Heidelberg Fall Invitational Saturday and Sunday at the Mohawk Country Club ... The Polar Bears finished first of six teams with a 363-343--709 ... Columbus State CC was second with a 353-363--716, Lourdes was third with a 379-367--746 and Capital was fourth with a 383-384--767 ... Junior Heather Comer won Medalist honors with an 83-83--166, finishing first by two strokes in the 33-woman field ... She was also named the OAc Women's Golfer of the Week for her efforts ... Junior Ariana Tomasula finished third with an 87-87--174 and freshmen Suzanne Short and Caitlin Silva tied for ninth with 186s ... Northern trailed Columbus State 353-363 after the first round, but beat the field by 17 strokes on Sunday to capture the team title.
